We talked about the power of mentorship and the urgent need to bridge the gap between generations. When our elders share their histories, they offer more than just perspective—they provide a navigational chart. Their lived experiences are the blueprints that can help the next generation avoid the pitfalls of the past, offering a kind of hard-earned wisdom that simply cannot be found on a screen.
It is so important for our seniors to step up and tell these stories, but it is equally crucial to find those folks out there who are ready and willing to listen. There is so much real-world wisdom waiting to be passed down if we just take the time to connect.
