I’d like to share with you my journey and involvement with Mission 22, an organization that holds a special place in my heart. As a former U2 Mission planner and pilot, I’ve had my fair share of challenges and experiences in the military, and I’m deeply committed to giving back to those who have served our country.
Mission 22 is not just another veterans’ organization; it’s a family. Founded by veterans and staffed by individuals who have a direct connection to the military, it understands the unique challenges veterans and their families face. That personal connection is what makes Mission 22 so special. As someone who has seen the sacrifices and challenges veterans go through firsthand, I wanted to find a way to support this incredible organization. That’s when the idea of the Dragon Lady Tee Shirt came into play. The Dragon Lady, a legendary aircraft, symbolizes the strength, courage, and determination of veterans. It’s a symbol I hold close to my heart.
My friend Dana, a former U2 Mission planner with the callsign Flair and the owner of @squadron_af, designed the Dragon Lady Tee Shirt.
